Multiplier event France 2023

The second multiplier event of France was held during the national day of community gardens, within the community gardens that hosted a big part of the Learning Bubbles pathway thanks to the bubble itself, that was implemented there: the youth centre MJC Berlioz. The event started by a short presentation of the project results, a visit of the bubbles followed by a practical exercise. The participants experimented an activity that was made for the youngsters during the Learning Bubbles pathway: a quizz using QR codes, that were corresponding to various parts of the community gardens.

35 to 40 people attended in total, including the staff of Pistes-Solidaires and the youth workers who took part to the project. The two managers of the Maison du Jardinier, the city hall of Pau, also participated and reminded the role of education within community gardens, and how it can create an impact on the youngsters as well as on the community.

Parents and children coming from the local community were also attending as the event was set within the setting of the national community gardens day, the "rendez-vous at the gardens". The full objective of the event was to underline and present the pedagogical potential of the community gardens. We believe to have reached our objectives as the informal exchanges about the project confirmed this.
